With almost 20 years of real-world command experience, including service as a Watch Commander, SWAT Assistant Commander, SWAT Team Leader, Sniper Commander, and Behavioral Threat Assessment practitioner, Matt brings a rare combination of tactical expertise, strategic foresight, and calm under pressure.

Matt has led critical incidents, overseen high-risk operations, and developed training programs that shape the next generation of front-line supervisors. Certified in WAVR-21 behavioral threat assessment and grounded in modern best practices for workplace violence prevention, he specializes in recognizing patterns, identifying early-warning indicators, and creating actionable, realistic solutions that organizations can implement immediately.

Matt has a bachelor's degree criminology and a master's degree in organizational leadership from the University of Oklahoma. Matt additionally holds multiple certificates and instructor ratings recognized by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training in the state of California.
